Privacy Notice & Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Borzo is run by Mykhailo Tkachenko as a sole proprietor. He's the person responsible for how your data is handled. If you have questions, you're talking directly to the founder - not a support team.
2. What we collect
- Your prompts - we use them to generate AI responses and then discard them. We don't store your conversations.
- Your email - for signing in and rate limiting. That's it.
- Waitlist signups - your email and which product you're interested in, so we can let you know when it's ready.
- Usage stats - things like how many people use Borzo each week and for how long. We use this to improve the product and show traction to investors. We always aggregate this data before sharing - no one sees your individual usage.
We never store your CAD files, geometry, or full chat history.
3. How it works under the hood
When you send a message, it goes from your CAD tool to our server over an encrypted connection. Our server passes it to an AI provider to generate a response, then streams it back to you. Once that's done, your prompt is gone from our server's memory.
Usage analytics are stored in our database with anonymized IDs and rolled up into weekly reports.
4. How long we keep things
- Your prompts - we don't keep them at all.
- Waitlist emails - until we launch + 90 days, then deleted (unless you sign up for the real thing).
- Usage analytics - raw data for 12 months, then deleted. Aggregated (anonymous) reports are kept longer.
- Your account - as long as it's active, plus 90 days after you leave.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Our infrastructure runs on Render with managed certificates.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, delete, or export your data anytime. Just email m@borzo.ai and we'll get back to you within 30 days (usually much faster).
7. Where your data lives
Our servers are in the EU (Frankfurt). Some processing happens in the US through our AI provider, covered by standard data protection agreements.
8. The legal stuff
Borzo is provided as-is. We do our best to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee it'll be perfect. We're not liable for indirect damages from using the software.
9. Cookies
Borzo uses a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies - keep you logged in and remember your session. These are required for the service to work. You can't turn them off without breaking things.
- Analytics cookies - help us understand how people use Borzo (page views, feature usage). All data is aggregated and anonymous. We don't use any advertising trackers.
No advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking. Ever. By using Borzo, you're okay with essential cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings anytime.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll let you know at least 14 days ahead through the app and on our website.
